Our Story

Hi, I'm Asher Ward , owner of AP Carpentry.

My passion for carpentry started when I was around 14 years old. What began as building small projects quickly turned into a genuine love for the trade. I enjoyed learning new skills, working with my hands, and seeing an idea become something real. 

To build on that passion, I attended Southern Maine Community College, where I earned a degree in Construction Technology. During my time there, I gained hands on experience in residential construction while learning the building science, structural principles, and craftsmanship behind quality construction.

Today, AP Carpentry is a one man business built on the values of honesty, and hard work. I personally manage every project from the first conversation to the final walkthrough, making sure every job receives the time and care it deserves. I believe quality craftsmanship isn't just about how a project looks when it's finished but it's about building it the right way so it lasts for years to come. Every project is completed with pride, precision, and a commitment to doing the job right the first time.
